Bottom Line:
I think I got the wire 2-3 years back, but somehow put it away after a while because I thought I didn't like it too much, thinking it was on the too-bright side. Yesterday, because of the snow-bound situation here, I somehow opened up a storage box and found them. Immediately I yanked the Harm Tech wires I had in my system. WOW, I thought. The wires are very dynamic, giving a great soundstage. On closer scrutiny (listening), I drew this conclusion - yes, it's dynamic and with good transparency. Somehow, compared to the Harm Tech (Pro Silways), the WOWs are much brighter, and perhaps less musical, tonality-wise. The Harm Techs have a thicker mid and lower regions. Perhaps that's why. IMHO, the Harm Tech wires are warmer. Well, the Harm Tech wires cost a little more $$ also. More money does buy more?

Bottom Line:
Very impressed with the build and sound quailty, upgraded the cable's from my phono amp and from my reciever to my amp(kimber tonik). Everything improved , at first I was considering upgrading my turntable. Not anymore, the cable's unleashed all the dynamic's and slam I knew my system was capable of. Awesome cable for the money.

Wow I am spoiled by my new (budget) stereo. How spoiled could I get?

This week I received my new NAD 316BEE integrated amp and 525BEE cd player and hooked them up to a pristine pair of JBL L100T speakers (lucky garage sale find) I am blown away. I can hear each instrument with clarity and location--jazz, rock, country, classical. I'm replaying all my CDs and enjo ... Read More »

Pinback - Information Retrieved (first listen - wow!)

Not sure if we have talked about this one yet, though wouldn't doubt it's high on the Slosh lookout. Not due in the stores for another week or so, and honestly wasn't a highly anticipated release for me. Love these guys, and their Black Heart Procession brothers, and especially their Three Mile Pilo ... Read More »

WOW, no more OPPO 93 being made

I was poking around looking for where to purchase a 2nd 93 and noticed that the OPPO site said Out of Stock but they have refurbs. Hoping to purchase direct, I emailed and asked when they would be back in stock and got the below response, to which I followed up with a few questions. ""Hi Brian, ... Read More »
