this review is for the newer smaller 22 series i have owned many pairs of highend speakers and after doing some testing with these all i can say is wow i prefer these to my celestion sl6 si monitors they were 1000.00 back in 1989 i can listen to the pioneers with no ear discomfort what so ever also compared them to a set of series 6 901s the 22s bested them i am very very impressed withh these little gems i bought them as a goof thinking they would fall flat on their face compared to some other speakers that i have and have heard well the pioneers are staying im saying goodbye to the sl6 and 901s that says a heck of alot for a pair cheapo bestbuy speakers dont try to audition them instore they sound like crap there set them up properly you will be blown away to bravo andrew jones im now a fan of your work
