A very attractive wood veneer, sleek design,easy to set up and use. I even updated to a nice MC cartridge
and the sound, although good with the stock cartridge that came with it, improved 2- fold. replaced stock felt
mat for an aftermarket one and the sound of the tightend up overall.
The point that I'm saying is that it is upgradeable if you want to but it very nice right out of the box :-)
