Review 1 of 5

Price Paid:  $250.00 from Needle In a Hay Stac

Summary:
I have had my Nitty Gritty going on 14 years now with no problem. I manually apply fluids, first using Record Research Labs Super Deep Cleaner, scrubing, then vacuming it, repeat with a standard alcohol based cleaner, then one last time with distilled water. The machine does a great job cleaning records, built well and no cpmplaints. I would buy another if this one ever quits.

Strengths:
Very effective at cleaning records. As with all RCM's it sucks the dirt out.

Weaknesses:
Noisy is about it.

Similar Products Used:
Other than the Disc Wash stsyem, none.

Review 2 of 5

Price Paid:  $350.00 from some guy in Upland,

Summary:
I've heard one pop after 6 albums! No 'surface noise', which was probably just dirt.

Strengths:
It protects my 1000 albums. And they sound great.

Weaknesses:
Another 2:00/album. Noisy.

Similar Products Used:
There are none.

Review 3 of 5

Price Paid:  $350.00 from used

Summary:
It cleans records great. The fluid is also great. The best thing I ever bought for my vinyl and cartridge. Easy to use with, fluid application is so easy with hand pump.

Strengths:
easy to use, easy to apply fluid

Weaknesses:
It needs an auto mode where it cleans for a set time, than vacumns for a set time and shuts off. Automation rules.

Similar Products Used:
record doctor manually with diapers.

Review 4 of 5

Summary:
I got the new kokoloba case - beautiful and functional. I hear more depth, no hiss, sounds clean and is clean

Strengths:
No fuss - Does it's job as advertised

Weaknesses:
If I could be picky, maybe the suction phase is loud

Review 5 of 5

Summary:
The NG 2.5 Fi is a semi-auto record cleaner that applies cleaning fluid, brushes and vaccums records while spinning. The sonic improvement is amazing, virtually eliminating surface noise on decent discs and making even severly dirty and old discs very listenable. Every vinyl enthusiast must have a vaccum machine like the NG 2.5 Fi. Only complaint is that, for $500, unit should come with a dust cover rather than having it be a $20 accessory.
