Summary:
This turntable is great. It is very easy to set up. It took 1/2 hr. It has a DC motor. I've had turntables with AC motors and when you put your hand on the table next to it, you could feel it viberate. Not with a DC. the Mitchel Techno Dec is made simply but very well built. the Modified Rega 250 arm is wonderful. IT is very quite. It is setup with a ortafon HMC250. It is clean open midrange super clean top end. The tight but very deep pronounced bottom is to die for. Sound stage is wide and open 3D like. There is a energy on records that it is not present on CD's and This turntable is one that will let you hear that very well. the audio presence is well defined and life like. Well worth the price.
