Review NaN of , from CA

Summary:
I was ready to upgrade from my trusty, 30 year old Thorens TD125/SME 3009 MkII. When looking at a replacement amp at a local internet dealer, I saw in the corner the AR ETL-l fitted with the Sumiko Premier MMT arm and Benz Micro Silver cartg. This was AR's "statement" table and was sold in the late 80's without an arm. The table, cherry finish, literally looked new; and I knew this was a rare unit. I gave it a spin, and was astonished at its musicality and detail. It had a quicker, livelier sound then my old Thorens. Well, I bought that unit and sold the Thorens.

Strengths:
Very musical, great looks
