Bottom Line: I have used more than a dozen cartridges over the past few years, some of them much more costly moving coils. They all have their merits but none has been as satisfying as the Exact.
The Exact has an all-together sound with a natural midrange which is well connected to a lively, detailed treble that is nice and sweet sounding. Very nice. It's bass is quick and dynamic, though does not go as deep as others I have used.
Other cartridges seem to have a favorite type of music and often disappoint when playing others. The Exact plays all types of music well, whether classic rock, classical, electronic, or older garage-sale-find type records. It is well built with a very good stylus tip.
