Bottom Line:
Bought the OM10 as a replacement for an old Stanton 681EE, and I was floored at how big an improvement the Ortofon made over the Stanton. The Ortofon OM10 has a very tight sound overall, and conveys a good amount of detail all the way around.

For an entry level cartridge, this has a great balance between refinement, detail, and versatility. But, the OM10 only hints at what the OM line in general is capable of. I thought the OM10 was a bargain, until I upgraded to the OM20.
