Bottom Line:
I must say that this vintage McCormack amp still sounds great. Originally hooked up to my Vandersteen 2 Ce speakers sounded fantastic. Non-fatiguing but revealing, this amp allows you to enjoy the music. The soundstage is open and gives the instruments in the recording a dimensional quality(good recordings), I can't believe this amp is almost 14 yrs. old! I've had this amp for 2 yrs. now hooked it up to my home theater and WOW! Nice headroom in that application. Still my first love is 2 channel listening but it is capable of filling in HT as wellI .I you see one of these for sale you should pick it up. Well built and compact, it won't take up too much space in your rack
