Review 1 of 4

Price Paid:  $220.00 from Best Buy

Summary:
I really like this receiver! Sounds great with my Eosones; nice clean sound. I agree with the post that mentioned that the menu navigation is not very user friendly. Very happy with the receiver. Would recommend Yamaha receivers, and would buy another one.

Strengths:
Price, features, clean sound, good remote, better than Sony

Weaknesses:
1 optical input only, 1 sub out only

Similar Products Used:
Pioneer VSX-D307

Review 2 of 4

Price Paid:  $299.00 from Best Buy

Summary:
For anyone looking for a great entry-level receiver that has good power with clean sound this is the receiver to buy. I've had it for over a year and am completely satisfied with it. I’m not going to rant and rave about the features I liked and don’t like because they aren’t that important. It’s simply a great receiver for the value.

Strengths:
Clean, Neutral Sound. 6.1, Plenty of Power for surround sound speakers.

Weaknesses:
Could have better remote/menu.

Similar Products Used:
Yamaha, JVC, Kenwood, Sony, Harmon Kardon
