This is a sweetheart of a condo theater receiver. At 45 watts per channel, it's got just the right amount of power. The sound modes are very high quality and usable. You know how budget receivers have sound modes like "Jazz Club" and "Stadium?" Try listening to those--they sound like fingernails on chalkboards. Oww. The Viso has EARS, a mode that distributes all sound to all speakers evenly. Better yet is ENHANCED STEREO which favors the front speakers and gives the rears ambiance. Damn it's sweet! But the Viso is not intuitive in use. You need to pay attention to the manual until you get used to all the commands. Nice remote. Sweet sound. Good looks and space-saving. If that's what you're after, it can't be beat. And it plays DVDA surround discs in full resolution. It's built like a tank and sings like an angel. Recommended.
