Summary:
Loved it alot, it works great even today. It is simple but holds up well. I have had a few other JVC receivers and this one was by far the best. I know its 2008 but I see no need to move up to the new model, only because this one still works well. I dont think that JVC makes this model anymore but I know that if you can find one I would pick it up, I love mine.

Strengths:
User friendly
All controls forward
There are endless possibilities to adjust the sound
quality and sound are great

Weaknesses:
no as of now,
the remote it came with was pretty cheap and flimsy
