Review NaN of , from Kirkland, WA

Summary:
If you don't need a phono stage, then the Spectral Reference DMC-30 is the right pre-amp to match your other Spectral gear. Has all the qualities of the esteemed DMC-20: the most neutral pre-amp that I've listened to.

Audio system:
Sonic Frontiers Transport 3
Sonic Frontiers Processor 3
Spectral DMC-30
Spectral DMA-360
Avalon Acoustics Eidolon
MIT 350 EVO interconnects
MIT 770 UL II spkr cables
PS Audio Power Plant 600 (x2)

Strengths:
Neutral; no-frills design approach; remote control

Weaknesses:
Lack of separate power supply module (DMC-20 is a two-unit preamp with power supply housed in a second unit)

Similar Products Used:
Spectral DMC-20 MkII; Krell KRC-HR
