Review 1 of 1

Price Paid:  $350.00 from Ensemble

Summary:
Not alot of people have one of these it seems. This is a very nice audio pre-amp with video follow switching ability unit. It has 4 inputs and two outputs. The RS-232 control is nice for use with AMX or Crestron control systems. Defeatable Bass and treble controls, gold plated RCA connectors. This unit passes whatever sound you give it and there is no loss or HISS detectable in my high end audio setup. I like the audio/video switching abilitys for such a cheap price! Works great for inputting computer audio, DVD audio/video, VCR audio video, and a CD player into a component amplifer for your system. Nice remote is included. No noise when turned up at full volume through sennheiser HD525 headphones!

Strengths:
No sound depreciation, 10 year warranty, fine components used throughout, nice price for abilitys, RS-232 control! high quality headphone amplifer built in. Size... small!

Weaknesses:
4 inputs, but not that bad, had a small problem with lighting interferring with IR remote but that could happen on anything.

Magnepan Magneplanar MG 1.6 User Review

In my judgment the advantage of the MG 1.6 (and other Magneplars), stems from the following: = It is a full-range dipole, and = It has uses low-mass, planar drivers for the whole audio spectrum. These attributes account for its extraordinary clarity, coherence, “air”...
