, from Chicago, IL, USA Summary: Bryston 3B amp Magnepan MB-II, factory refurbished Nad 5340 CD Nakamichi CR-1A Tape. Ariston Q-Deck Phonograph.
This has been probably the most irrational purchase I made, having never seen the unit, or listened it, I purchased it because the dealer sold for %40 below retail price.
Given that, the unit is wonderful. Solidly built, great remote, elegant looks, beautiful interconnects -including XLR, and an optional phonograph board.
The unit seems to have tamed the Bryston 3B amp, lowering the bass only slightly.
Its the best "blind date" I've ever had. Strengths: Simplicity, build quality, interconnects, remote, optional phon board
