Summary:
My temporary setup is stereo output from SigmaTel sound card of my PC, Ming Da pre-amp and Yamaha M-85 amplifer. Speakers are PSB 400i.

the MC-7R preamp is a very handsome unit, Treble & mi-range are very good. Bass is deep and not bloomy. Soundstage and Imaging is excellent and better when compare w/ Yamaha Ax-592 pre-amp stage.

The cost is very reasonable and

Good soundstage and imaging. Bass is good. Handsome & affordable.

Weaknesses:
None so far.
