Summary:
upgraded from 250a & 250p. First got a fpb300c, sound was much improved. When I got the KCT I couldn't believe how much more musical the system got. Softer,more articulate, but with authority. Its as though with each piece the musical event came more into focus.

beautiful attention to detail for the eyes and ears

price,runs very warm,even in standby

Summary:
This preamp has great resolution, a deep and wide soundstage, amazing bass weight and warm detailed sound. The construction is first rate and the sound is second to none. I would highly recommended if you are looking for your final preamp or if you have Krell Cast amps.
