Price Paid:  $4000.00

Summary:
This amplifier is very quiet, and there is not a noise at all. In addition, music is very comfortable for high speed.

Strengths:
A good point of a prominent sound.

Similar Products Used:
Much expensive. Weak in low volume

Review 2 of 2

Price Paid:  $2880.00 from Exclusive Audio

Summary:
Goldmund is spoiling us. This little product is a miracle in its own right. Not only is it of tremendous value as it is an almost impossible feat to build a characterless device but sell it for so little? It combines the advantages of passive and active pre-amplification into one product. Try it inhouse after a warm-up period of at least 20hours. If you really want to be sure of the SRP2 absolute performance, up-grade the A1 modules to A20s(for those who know).

Strengths:
Balanced, transparent, characterless.

Weaknesses:
None bar the fact that it really shines with Goldmund equipment.

Similar Products Used:
YBA, ATC, EAR, MF.

In my judgment the advantage of the MG 1.6 (and other Magneplars), stems from the following: = It is a full-range dipole, and = It has uses low-mass, planar drivers for the whole audio spectrum. These attributes account for its extraordinary clarity, coherence, “air”...
