Strength:

Exceptionally low noise floor - jaw dropping!
Very high gain level - output from my moving coil cartridge (Ortofon MC Kontrapunkt b) is almost the same level than CD player with balanced interconnect cables!

Weakness:

Pilot light is not the same brightness than that of the EC amps and CD player.
Power supply plug based on UK standard & had to use adaptor to be able to plug it into power conditioner unit.
Resistance cannot be changed to suit cartridge - it can however be factory tuned/ordered with specific resistance.

This is an excellent piece of equipment that does justice to LP's as a medium. It is able to extract a suprising level of detail that is commonly (wrongly) believed not to exist on LP's. Don't however think that it is bright sounding - not at all. Mids are pleasing and natrually sounding while I found low frequencies quite pacy.

Where I find listening to CD's tiring after a while, the hours can just pass by without noticing, so natural and involving is the sound. If you treasure good sound and have a significant LP collection, this is a must have!
