Price Paid:  $200.00 from Private Party

Summary:
FET Stereo Pre-amp with 5 inputs, 2 outputs. Switch for Stereo / Reverse / Mono. Balance & Volume. NO power switch. This amp is supposed to be constabtly powered for best tone.

Strengths:
Powerful signal output. Will drive any power amp into distortion when volume is cranked. Phono pre-amplifier has low self-noise. It is a solid sounding pre-amp. Nice mid-range tonality. Reliable.

Weaknesses:
1980's technology. "Outdated" No I-pod inputs, No HDMI inputs.

Similar Products Used:
Had a Conrad - Johnson PV-10. That pre-amp was broken frequently - Unreliable.
Had a Dynaco PAS-3, That was a noisy piece of junk in comparison to the Sonographe.
