Price Paid:  $1500.00 from Audio Exchange New Y

Summary:
This is an extra-ordinary amplifier. I use it to drive ESL-63's. It has outstanding depth and imaging. It is transparent and has a great deal of detail and spacial information. I run it with Philips EL-34's that I think are a great match for the amp. Philips tubes are no where to be found these days however. I bought a batch in 1986 when I bought the amp. If I found this amp in the used market I would buy another. CJ as you know will repair and suport the product. Built like a tank. In use for 15 plus years !!!

Strengths:
Imaging, tranparency, detail and spacial information. Sweet highs with the right EL-34's

Weaknesses:
Could have a little more in the deep bass, but probably tube dependant
