Strength:

Very quiet. The crossover point being used is very smooth (250 HZ). The transition between my bass speakers and the upper end (using JBL 4350 Studio Monitors which are bi-amped) has become so much smoother and quieter. The slope controls were very usefull when real-timing the system. Between the adjustments on the B10 and on the monitors themselves I was able to get a very good "curve" and an equalizer was not needed. The usual Bryston 20 yr warr. is a sign that it is built to last.

Weakness:

Would be nice to have a "auto turn on" feature to work with the Bryston BP-25 preamp. A input level meter or level peak lite would be helpful at times but probably not that important unless your using the unit to drive a large PA system using high sound pressure levels.

This unit is at home in your personal system as well as in the studio or on the road. Having a crossover that adds no noise to your system is a big plus for us folks with bi-amped systems. Less is best when it comes to noise and the B-10 is tops in my book.
