The sound quality of this preamplifier is excellent and truly reference grade. The music flowed naturally and unabated, with a superb presence. The details and dynamics are akin to what one would find in a super high-end system. The soundstage is well defined, three dimensional and detailed. Each instrument is identified without congestion or overcrowding. No matter what is thrown at the BC 101 it handles it with ease. Fuid and melodic, a real foot stomping piece. If you are looking for a no-nonsense preamp with excellent build quality that delivers just the music as it was ment to be heard this preamp should be auditioned. You would be hard pressed to find a better unit at this or even many times its price point.
