Review NaN of

Price Paid:  $0.00

Summary:

Weaknesses:
Rien à dire

Review NaN of

Price Paid:  $950.00 from audiogon

Summary:
Words do not describe my affection for this preamp. Until plugging it in, i had yet to hear how musical, detailed, quiet, and enthralling a pre can be, and how it can add these qualties to my system. Replaced the Adcom gfp-750 and Musical Fidelity a3cr pre's without an ounce of indecision. The a/b tests confirmed a lower noise floor, greater body, more realistic soundstaging, better depth, and can clearly shout out its designer's sheer joy for music. this is a passionate pre. i will never replace it.

Strengths:
see above

Weaknesses:
i have found my pre. none.

Review NaN of , from Colorado

Price Paid:  $1400.00 from A'gon

Summary:
Couldn't be happier with the purchase of this fantastic preamp. DEAD quiet. Lets my tube monos do their thing without any signature of it's own. Rivals a certain preamp that I thought was one of the best. Won't name names but the comparison needless to say was very surprising, IMHO. Don't take my word for it. Audition the Pre 1 yourself and let your ears decide.

Strengths:
Sound (or lack thereof), ergonomics, remote. True class A performance at a class C price new. Used it's a complete steal!

Weaknesses:
May not have the ultimate in build quality compared to the $10k club but a very minor quibble compared to it's sound quality. Simple elegance vs. "The Crown Jewels".
