I just noticed this little gem didn't have many reviews out there, so here goes. I purchased this preamp based on a few scant reviews on audiogon and around the net. It was also given Stereophile Class B status, if that is important to you. It replaced a Parasound Halo P3 which I found too laid back and not detailed enough for what my dali speakers could produce. When I hooked it up, I was floored by the resolution that came out of this little preamp. Details that were lost were now there in spades, no more having to turn up the treble for certain types of music. I found it a little harsh sounding at first, and after a few hours, I began to worry because the harshness wouldn't go away. So I checked my interconnects, and found that I had a silver cable hooked up, so I replaced it with a standard copper interconnect, and voila, the harshness was gone. In its place was the smoothest, most detailed sound I could hope for. I pair it with a parasound A21 amp, and it is delicious with everything from metal and rock, to acoustic and jazz. I've had it for about 2 years now, and will keep until it breaks, and will hopefully be able to get another one. This one is a keeper.
