Bottom Line: Bought this amp with its matching tuner in late 1980 as a high school graduation present to myself. Absolutely the best amp for the money back then. Its too bad you have to spend thousands of dollars now a days to get this kind of tone and power. I use it in my club on the weekends. If you have the chance to pick one up in good shape grab it up!

Bottom Line: V-8 indeed! This 35-pound, twin-transformer beast features huge sound & sweet-sweet tone. One of the best amps I have ever heard, but runs as hot as a pistol, so let 'er breathe! A real sleeper. The best Technics amp ever made?
