Price Paid:  $1080.00 from Music Lovers Audio,

Summary:
After listening to numerous recievers and integrated amps, I continually kept going back to the ROTEL sound. Some might consider the sound a bit bright, but it sounded more lively to me. I listened to them all. I was in the $1000 class and the ROTEL had the best sound for the buck. The midrange is outstanding. Bass is fast and accurate. Highs are clear and clean. The soundstage is very deep and wide. The power output will exceed the needs of most speakers and room requirements. The remote control is top notch. It also has a phono stage whcih is nice considering I love the sound of vinyl. The unit is well built and quite hefty for its size and price. I do not think there is another integrated in this price range that can match the musical clarity. Some day, I do plan to upgrade to a good tube set up such as Conrad Johnson, but in the mean time, I am very happy with my ROTEL. If you are in the market for a great product with awesome sound, give the ROTEL integrated line a try. You get all of the benifits of seperates with about half the cost and the ease of only one chassis.

Strengths:
Natural, clean midrange
Clear, crisp highs
Extended, deep, accurate bass

Weaknesses:
None so far
