from Audiogon Summary: The Linar is a true Audiophile product that has the ability to be used as a home theatre 5.1 amplifier. Very easy to setup and use. I've owned the Pass Labs X600's, Threshold T400, Boulder 500AE, McCormack DNA225, and Muse 300's. I can tell you that the only one that comes close to the musicality, detail, and involvemnet of the Linar 10 are the X600's. After 30 years of changeing components in and out of my system, I finally have a system that is affordable, runs cool, highly musical, and doubles as a high end HT amp. On top of all this, you also get a first rate remote controlled pre-amp built in. Strengths: Versitile, muciscal, bass, detail, non-fatiguing, involving, pace, warmth, and build quality. Weaknesses: None. Similar Products Used: McCormack MAP-1, DNA-225, and HT-3. Pass Labs X600, Muse 300, Sumo Andromeda II, and Aragon 8008BB.
