Jadis DA 8 Tube Integrated Amplifier
2 Reviews
rating  5 of 5
MSRP
Description: With twice as many output tubes as the DA-5, the DA-8 offers twice the power: it's 80 watt per channel output will drive all but the most inefficient speakers. Like the DA-5, the DA-8's handsome black chassis is fronted with a gold colored front panel. Another nice feature--tube saving standby switch.

Review NaN of , from Viladecans, Barcelona

Price Paid:  $1850.00 from Rany HiFi Italia

Summary:
I use the DA-8 with the DPL preamp also from Jadis... Excelent sound of course, but this is not enough for that I expect for an high price electronics... The "quick" for passes of the simply "excelent" to an AMAZING, SUPERB, INCREDIBLE sound is??? PLEASE REJECT THE SUPPLIED VALVES (Svetlana, Sovtek) and RETUBE IT WITH A NOS GE 6550A JAN, and SIEMENS E82CC, Sylavania 6189 !!!!! With this "re-arrange", you will be an electronics of FIRST WORLWIDE LEVEL, I assure you!!
Of course, uses for all, the magnificients CARDAS CABLES (Hexlink Golden 5-C, Golden Cross, Golden Reference..)

Strengths:
Great in all areas!!

Weaknesses:
Please wait a little more of 1 hour for hear THE GLORY!!

Review NaN of , from USA

Price Paid:  $5500.00 from Northstar

Summary:
This amp suits jazz, classical and everything in between! Not the amp for rockers and ravers! Awesome instrument timbres and top notch detail and musicality! Match it with a smooth sounding CD players and your in jazz wonderland! The looks alone costs USD5000! A bit on the expensive side I must say! Look out for 2nd hands units as these are built like a tank beasts and the tubes last a lifetime! I have my tubes since 1998 and im still using these until now 2002!

Strengths:
Musicality, timbre quality, involvement and accuracy of vocals!

Weaknesses:
A tad slow depending on the associated equipment
