from Cornflakes, London Summary: Bought the 2nd-hand plain XX in 1993 and have been using it on a daily/weekly basis. I think 1 of the early units as the input controls were still push-buttons, whereas all the production units were rotary switches. I think it's about 35w per channel but it sounds much grander than that. Very easy and accomodating character. Handles just about any kind of music in its stride. And IMHO even sweeter sounding than the Exposure Amps of recent manufacture. Strengths: An amp for all occassions. It rocks & dances, paint symphonics soundscapes and quiet acapellas with equal ease. Weaknesses: A little more power would be nice - that's what the Supers are for. And never, ever play them while cold. Similar Products Used: Exposure Pre and Power (cira 1994)
