Bottom Line: I've bought the audiolab 8000a 60 WATT version amp about 27 years ago, and im still using it now in good condition. The sound quality was excellent and the bass was strong enough to shake the walls. The first time i bought this amp, I drive a pair of Marantz speaker. But now i've change to a pair of JPW loudspeaker and partnered with a Acoustic Energy AE 100 Classic loudspeaker. Because my old Marantz speaker was too big for the apartment. After i've change my speakers, the sound was better than my old Marantz speaker. The audiolab 8000a amp has 1 weakness, after I play my music about half an hour the amp will heat up easilly.

Bottom Line: IVE JUST PURCHASED A AUDIO LAB 8000A 60WATT AMP -- WOW WHAT PUNCH IT HAS COMPARED TO MY OLD NAIM NAIT 1 - FRONT END I USE A REGA PLANNER 2 - AND BOSE 304 SPEAKERS THE SOUND JUST KICKS AND KEEPS GETTING BETTER AS THE AMP WARMS UP WELL WORTH THE MONEY !!!!!
