Review 1 of 8

Price Paid:  $1200.00 from 2nd hand from privat

Summary:
I've been using this amplifier for almost a year now. Driving my Jamo Oriels quite easy (bass could be a bit tighter though). The ease with which this amplifier plays my music is very relaxing. The staging is far better than my previous (Van Medevoort pre/power) amplifiers. The remote control is simple but effective. Unfortunetaly my Meridian 507 does not have balanced output, so I don't know how the balanced inputs are. The phono input is great. A major improvement over the input on my Van Medevoort. A very good and musical amplifier.

Strengths:
Ease of playing, the serenity around the music is fantastic Dynamic Build

Weaknesses:
Color (champagne is defenitly not my color) Dimensions, amplifier does not fit in cabinet

Similar Products Used:
Van Medevoort pre/power

Review 2 of 8

Price Paid:  $1900.00 from Certified Dealer in Munich

Summary:
I use the Accuphase E-210 with an external Phono-Input (from T+A) so I can nothing say about the E-210A with built in phono input.

The Accuphase is driving my T&A TMR Criterion 160 speakers. To my opinion the E-210 can handle any speaker, which has no abnormal demand for power: 2 x 110 Watts at 4 Ohm are enough for 95 % of the speakers on the market.

The Accuphase plays music, without adding something or fudging. From the lowest to the highest frequencies you will only hear what you feed him. So the best I can tell about this amplifier: buy it, install it, forget it: it will never play itself in the foreground.

And don't forget the overall quality: if you ever want to sell it (I don't) the name Accuphase will pay!

Strengths:
Excellent build quality,

Weaknesses:
Outputs for only one pair of speakers

Kenwood KA-1100

Review 3 of 8

Summary:
I just bought this amp and im more than pleased with the sound quality of this golden peace. Compared to the Arcam Delta 60, the E-210 stands up like a skyscraper. I use the amp with Vienna Accoustis Mozart "Signature".

The E-210 indulges the whole room with wholesam, clear sound which will draw you into the depth of the music. The bas is deep and full bodyied, the middle is warm and neutral, and the highs are soft and fine tuned without any shrieking.

All in all, a very nice amp for the money!

Strengths:
lively, clearity, power.

Weaknesses:
heavy to cary ;)

Similar Products Used:
Arcam Alpha 6, Arcam Delta 60

Summary:
I think this amplifier is going to stay with me for a long time. With it now I use a Meridian CD-player together with Mirage OM-8 speakers. I've also tried it on smaller speakers, like the cheap Audio Pro monitors. Its sound comes perfectly through: deep, punchy bass, not too quick but authorative, open and transparent midrange, and airy and clear highs. It looks solid and refined like a Rolls Royce and give an immediate appearance of high quality.

Summary:
This is a very fine amp.Like all Accuphase products the look, the finish and the build quality is superb. The sound quality is very good, but after some
months you want it to be even better. On this amp it is rather easy to make
a tremendous improvement.I have replaced all filmcaps, on the poweramp:s
pcb:s,with topquality film/foil types(polystyrene/tinfoil).These caps are
outstanding regarding less influence on the audio signals. At the same time
I improved the power suply to the drive- and powerstage by soldering 1mm
highquality copperwire on the pcb:s coppertraces.(to the mosfets and the
powerMETs).After several months I am still amazed by the fantastic difference
in sound qality. The bass is very low and fast and singing, the mids are tran-
sparent and neutral, and the treble is very sweet yet much more detailed.

The unit arrived from China well packed and everything seem to be in place. No external abuse by the carriers. The only problem was the power supply it came with. The box came with a cheap step-down converter.
