this is a review for the accuphase e-204 integrated amp.....this amp is one of the finest integrateds i have heard....i have been listening to a lot of tube amps and ss amps from friends ... this amp definitely beats other amps in every sense....i still havent heard the lavardin it...but it sure will be a challenge to audition this 25 year old amp side by side with the brand new lavardin it...hehehehehe...the hotter this amp gets the better the sound is...highs are as smooth as silk...mids are natural and neutral...the lows are tight & fast...ithe only weakness i can think of is the availability of spare parts if ever this amp should breakdown... Strengths:
classic look....built like a tank....the sound is awesome Weaknesses:
