Bottom Line:
This past weekend I auditioned a Vecteur Club 12 140wps SS integrated designed by a former design team
member with YBA...since ugrading a couple of months ago to some JMlabs Cobalt 810 & Sim Audio Moon I-5 integrated,I have been bothered by
a slightly bright treble, concomitant sibilance issues & a modicum of thinnest in the lower midrange...all these
problems were beautifully resolved by the 12...other highlites include,a deep & powerful bass(unlike some of the
YBA product),a wonderfully warm, lucid, timbrally accurate midrange and superb rendering of micro-dynamics...weakness were of a minor nature namely;high frequency a little opaque, not quite as transparent or as fast as the
Moon I-5 & no pre-out for sub aficionados,although there are 2 tape monitor loops...overall verdict;best integrated
I have heard to date & IMO would work well with speakers that may be on the bright side & of low to moderate
efficiency... a final note;the 12 did not seem to mind the 3.6 ohm bass drop of the 810 so it should
be OK with "tough load" speakers as the rep also stated that the 12 had no problems driving the Martin Logans

Bottom Line:
I tried this amplifier from a very small company in Britany (Vecteur also builds LEEDH loudspeakers). Small, but good. The designer of the amplifier worked previously with Yves Bernard André (YBA). The Club 12 ampl is very simply made, but everything is well thinked. Enormous Dynamic, very accurate. Very close to Krell Kav 300i, but far less expensive (in France at least), softer, less agressive, less impressive also, but so musical. I really recommend it.
