Dynamic low distortion musicality, from the quietest to the loudest of passages. Mine is equipped with the "Double" option, substituting double MOS-FETs for each of the 12 single MOS-FETs in the standard configuration, for additional high current (H) capability. It replaced a VA Systems Model Two amplifier of the same power, but with 16 single MOS-FETs, which had been in my system for 30 years. In comparison, the Insight Double 440H has an increased clarity both on the high end and the low end, and a mid-range presentation rivaling much more expensive amplifiers. Your money goes primarily into performance with this amplifier, rather than physical appearance enhancements.
