The sound is warm and clear even with higher volume the music are still clear.
It dosent get so hot as the Technics SA-AX540 i used before and the sound compare to that reciver is like compare a BMW with a VW Polo. The big beast 909 wins!
Im using it with my computer, Technics cd-player SL-PGA580A and Marantz dvd-player.
Some music cds sounds better in the Marantz dvd-player then the technics one.
The Marantz one get much warmer sound overall I think. Strengths:
*Warm and clear sound
*Big VU-meters and it is possible to shut them down when watching a movie.
*Remote works good, but the buttons are little to soft. Weaknesses:
No digital input and the connectors are not gold plated. Similar Products Used:
