Summary:
i,ve used this amp in tandem with the taurus 300b
on mg 1.6's. this bi-amped set up is quite smooth and very
easy to listen to. no impedance variations on the combo makes a wonderful match for the magnepans. musical, open and plenty of power on this set-up. the sound of this 50
watt amp is probably so easy to listen to due to the el-34
output tubes. i've replaced the generic chinese input and driver tubes allowing for even more musicality and openess.
check out this combo at taurus audio (only place the stuff
is available.) louis @ taurus is a wonderful and enthusiastic dealer. enjoy great sound for not too much money. how can you beat that?
