Review NaN of , from Wrightstown, NJ, USA

Price Paid:  $3700.00 from Demo from company di

Summary:
Here is a most excellent amp. It truly combines solid state power with refinement. 175 watts per channel. Has biwired posts in back. Has RCA inputs, balanced XLR inputs as well as having the option of getting two of these and running them at 500 watts as a fully balanced monoblock!

Strengths:
Bass! Also a smoothness not associated with most powerful SS equipment. Great for organ, orchestra, Rock , Jazz etc. Very musical not clinical at all like some SS amps.

Weaknesses:
None. Oh all right, the edges of the gigantic heat sinks are a little sharp.

Similar Products Used:
Carver 705x (Now my movie amp alone), Rogue 80 watt stereo amp, Bryston 125 watt amp. B&W matrix 804 speakers and Audible Illusions 3 pre-amp work really well with the power amp.

Review NaN of , from Aust

Price Paid:  $1400.00

Summary:
What I own here is the Sonogy Cantata, used it for 3 years, never felt the need to replace it.

Non feedback design makes the midrange glows with intimacy and smoothness. Strong bottom and quick highs made this amp exciting to listen to. I partner this fellow with a Audio Research LS8 tube pre and link it to a Dynaudio Contour 3.0 speakers. Power is of abundant and the combo can handle subtle guitar strings as well as major drums interplay with equal poise and confidence.

Stereo imaging is spot on and soundstage is very well defined. Partner it wisely and you are in for a treat....

Strengths:
Exceptional bass respond, smooth and transparent mids and extended highs. Non feedback design

Weaknesses:
Sharp heatsink at the sides might catch skin while handling it, runs moderately hot. Sound wise, nothing to critisize

Similar Products Used:
Bryston 3BST, 4BST, Classe CA100, Rotel RB991, Roksan Rok1, Pilinus SA50, Denon POA series, Perraux

Review NaN of , from Scotch Plains, NJ 07076

Summary:
This amp is a real winer. It has a very strong buttom end with a smooth and detailed midrange and silky highs that extend to beond audiability. Mine also has dual internal power supplys for the capability to drive hard speaker loads. At 175 watts rms, it is conservatively rated.
It is the best solid state amp I have heard myself and in my opinion, I like it beter than a good tube amp.

Strengths:
Very strong buttom end. Balanced and RCA inputs with a 500 watt mono balanced input. It also has bi wire speaker output termanals.

Weaknesses:
None

Similar Products Used:
Melos mono block tube amps, & Quick Silver solid state amp.

Review NaN of

Summary:
I have listened to this new amplifier a few times, and it is one of those that you immediately say that they are doing something right.#1 musicality! Ultra quite background that makes instruments appear in free space.Built like a tank, double outputs for bi-wiring,balanced inputs, etc. This amp works VERY well on Vandersteens. I would also recommend it's use with the amazing Quicksilver LS linestage preamp. This combo is so good-it's eerie! STEP INTO THE MUSIC!
