$1400.00 Summary: What I own here is the Sonogy Cantata, used it for 3 years, never felt the need to replace it.
Non feedback design makes the midrange glows with intimacy and smoothness. Strong bottom and quick highs made this amp exciting to listen to. I partner this fellow with a Audio Research LS8 tube pre and link it to a Dynaudio Contour 3.0 speakers. Power is of abundant and the combo can handle subtle guitar strings as well as major drums interplay with equal poise and confidence.
Stereo imaging is spot on and soundstage is very well defined. Partner it wisely and you are in for a treat.... Strengths: Exceptional bass respond, smooth and transparent mids and extended highs. Non feedback design Weaknesses: Sharp heatsink at the sides might catch skin while handling it, runs moderately hot. Sound wise, nothing to critisize Similar Products Used: Bryston 3BST, 4BST, Classe CA100, Rotel RB991, Roksan Rok1, Pilinus SA50, Denon POA series, Perraux
