Bottom Line: What can I say...If you need clean sheer power, look no further than the GCA-500. Without flinching, this amplifier, delivers power that is unbelievable, clean, without ANY flaws at all.
PS Audio had to use the Gain Cell technology, as I understand there was a possible "patent battle" so PS Audio developed the GCA line, and IMHO, they are perhaps among the Best Power amplifiers they have ever made.
Stable down to 1 ohm.
Nothing but clean music reproduction, if the source is clean, and the Pre-amp is clean, you will realize pure
music reproduction.
I use the PS Audio PCA-2 pre-amp, with wonderful results with the HCPS.
Rarely found as they are such fine products, most owners, will never part with them.
No grain, no hum, nothing but clean music, they do benefit from PS Audio power cords.
Great separation, tremendous dynamics.
One of Audio's best kept secrets.
A true "T-Rex" of an amplifier.
