Handy amp. Very confusing manual, there are a series of switches for various loads 4-8-16 ohms. My experiance is that they make no difference in output. This is not an amp that puts out 120 watts channel. 85 watts is about right. It has Peaveys DDT compression built into it. It will be on most of the time in any kind of live use. I have used it for driving horns and light monitors and it is OK for those apps but like most Peavey amps it just doesn't have quite enough Oooph. On the plus side, when it isn't in DDT Compression mode alot it sounds good, is built like a tank, seems to be OK with being driven wide open all day long, and is small. It's been my spare utility amp for years. If you bridge it you can get 150-175 watts, enough for 1 decent monitor at a live gig, emergency bass/guitar amp, ect..I had it out today and there doesn't seem to be any real reviews of it out there, so here ya go, Ken @ Shortsville Sound.
