Review 1 of 1

Price Paid:  $2500.00 from 2nd hand

Summary:
I bought this amp unseen and unheard as a second hand object. I am really pleased with it. It has now been running my Martin Logans for a while, with a tremoundus amount of control. I really love the amps clean look and especially the blue LED. It has a graet allover quality feeling, and is host to a lot of nice quality components. The speaker terminals are of a really good quality. The sound leans towards the warm and along with my Logans it gives a really big soundstage. I can really recomend this as a second hand product as it is ment to last a lifetime when it comes to build quality.

Strengths:
Power,looks,finish,SOUND, heavy and reliable.

Weaknesses:
Gets hot, if thats a weakness. Recomend to get free air..

Magnepan Magneplanar MG 1.6 User Review

In my judgment the advantage of the MG 1.6 (and other Magneplars), stems from the following: = It is a full-range dipole, and = It has uses low-mass, planar drivers for the whole audio spectrum. These attributes account for its extraordinary clarity, coherence, “air”...
