Summary:
The SE-160 is Monarchy's crowning achievement, a monophonic hybrid design that couples a 6922 based tube input to high-powered MOSFET output stage. Output is 160watts 8 ohm load, 50 watts running class A, single ended or balanced available. These amplifiers produce a musical involving presentation, with a wide range of dynamic graduations with inner detail, smooth and sweet in the midrange, agile, rhythmic and weighty bass. The best amp that satisfies both tube and solid state desire, easy tube rolling, built and sounds great, never tiring.

Strengths:
Smooth and Musical wide sound stage.
Never weary or tiresome.
Great build quality, easy load to drive.
Tube swapping only requires (2) 6DJ8 tubes or other similar based triodes.

Weaknesses:
Amps run warm, like any good Class A biased will, need ventilation.

Similar Products Used:
Tube or Solid state preamp works well.
SE-100 solid state amps
Compared with Anthem amp2 and AVA fet/valve
