Summary:
I added the ME555, 3 channel amplifier, to my system, last year (1999). The improvement was nothing short of astonishing. The ME555 embodies all the features of the 2 channel, ME550-II. Glorious dynamics, bass power, micro-dynamics, etc. The ME555 is every bit a high end amplifier.

Strengths:
Dynamics, bass power and authority, sweet, grain free mids and highs.

Weaknesses:
Heavy.
