Bottom Line: i upgraded to the 2250 from a klout, and i mean upgrade. i have been a linn listener for a while now and would compare the sound style of the 2250 the lk140's in active mode, but with twice the power and prescence. The 2250 is more accurate and the bass is hugely alive in comparison to the klout. i would love to hear 3 of these in active mode on my 5140 speakers. do yourself a favour and chnage the klout for one of these or more!!! i also used to have a plinius 9200 integrated amp and the bass is as good as that, but with the added bonus of more open sound.

Bottom Line: Very transparent and fast amp. Detailed, precise and with a big soundstage. Voices sound very natural.
