Summary:
This is the Bryston 5B-ST badged as Lexicon. Shows you how good Bryston reaaly is if Lexicon is willing to private label their product.

Strengths:
everything you look for in a $2000 - $3000 amp

Weaknesses:
none whatsoever except why a 5 year warranty instead of a 20 year that Bryston supports

Summary:
The Lexicon is a very nice amp. It has decent power, is very accurate, and has clean bass. However the reason why I didn't give it 5 stars is simply this, it doesn't have the power necessary to drive inefficent loudspeakers such as my review sample (Aerial Model 7B). A better option would be the Sunfire amp granted it has only 2 channels oppose to 3 but the power is there.

Review 3 of 3

Summary:
These NT series amplifiers by Lexicon are stunning. Sound reproduction is excellent, including every detail. When the amplifiers are opened up, you can see why they cost so much, and also, why they are SOOOO good. The amplifier I am talking about costs $2400 and is for 3 channels. Inside, it has massive heat sinks, and sure enough, 3 different high-quality amps, completely seperated from each other, and on different circuits. Just one output on this amp, was able to drive 2 Snell Sub 550's perfectly. The subs actually sounded better than comparable subs running a 350 watt amp!! Overall, these NT amps are absolutely stunning, and should be a part of any serious audiophile's hometheater system. And, paired with the Lexicion DC-1 preamp, they sound EVEN better... 5 stars...Bravo.

Moscode 402Au OLT stereo power amplifier Review

George is adamant about the fact that the Moscode 402Au is not just a tube gain stage slapped onto a solid-state power amplifier; rather, it is a tube amplifier with a MOSFET output stage.

Lowther’s DX-65 driver in the Teresonic Magus XR Review

A new driver from Lowther is real news. A new five inch driver is even rarer news, so it was with great anticipation that I waited on this pair of speakers to arrive.

Aune Mini Headphone DAC User Review

The unit arrived from China well packed and everything seem to be in place. No external abuse by the carriers. The only problem was the power supply it came with. The box came with a cheap step-down converter.
