Review 1 of 3

Price Paid:  $750.00 from Singapore

Summary:
I got my Kinergetics Research KBA-75 3 month ago in a secondhand Electronic shop in Singapore, This Amp is one of the best power amplifier I have ever seen. It is solid built and very powerfull pure class-A power amplifier. Its sound is very clear, strong bass & sweet especially for those who like to listen to classical or sentimental music. It shall give the better sound if couple with a same Brand class-A preamplifier or Rotel preamp.

Strengths:
Powerfull, sweet, clarity, solid design.

Weaknesses:
Get hot very fast (May be due to class-A operation), having an unexpected sound when shutting of the amp.

Review 2 of 3

Price Paid:  $500.00

Summary:
got this KBA75 power plant fm my friend about 5yrs ago and till today, i'm still using it. this amp is very tough, rigid & powerful. unfortunately, i don't have the specification of this amp because this amp is easily more 8yrs++ old. the only information that i know of is this amp is 75w/ch class A as stated on the front chasis. i believed this amp could delivered the power more much than 75w as i compared with a rotel bx980 which rated 120w/ch. the sound production is awesome. clear & smooth for high & mid & the bass is tigh. soundstage is good. realised that this amp paired well with nad & rotel pre amp. try using adcom, halfer & vicent pre amp, the sound is abit harsh because i find that the high is not bright enought as compared. clarity is important to me because i listen to alot of vocals. sound even sweeter when this amp is warm & this amp never seem to get fatigue. all i can say is this is indeed a gd amp for the price i paid & it is a tough amp to beat!

Strengths:
solid build, rigid & powerful. warm & sweet. clarity.

Weaknesses:
get warm very fast.

Marantz MA-9S2 Power AmplifierThe list above has one tenet that I continue to hold true: high powered amplifiers are necessary to reproduce the full dynamic range of music with most speakers. This became apparent when I changed from the 100 Watt per channel Bella Extreme 100 to the 250 Watt.....

The unit arrived from China well packed and everything seem to be in place. No external abuse by the carriers. The only problem was the power supply it came with. The box came with a cheap step-down converter.
