from Audiogon Summary: I had two pairs of PSE studio V
monoblocks before I bought the JRD model 6 monos, the PSE's sound very good, I listen to a lot of amps trying to find something better and I did JRD model 6, built quality; this amps are built to .005 tolerance that means that you will not find any piece of this amp that rattles or fits loose. as for the looks I have not found a better looking amp other the other JRD amps off course, now lets get into the sound, at first impresion is like listening to a pair of good tube amps with out the hassle of tubes and better bass, the midrange is smotth liquid
and with very good transparency and focus, the depth from front to back is fenomenal I hear things that extend the boundries of my listening room (kid you not)the treble is extended open and liquid with no hints of compretion , darkness or coloration at all. The sound stage is wide and deep with excellent space between instruments, overall this amps are a JRD model 2 in steroids. HIGHLY RECOMENDED to anyone looking to spend 4 to 5 gran on a new amp look for a pair pf model 6 used you wont be desapointed.
