Although it is always easy to become enamored with the newest purchase, I've got to admit that this is the best amp I've ever owned. Nothing really stands out in its presentation; the amp is not super dynamic, super fast, super detailed, or super anything. It is extremely competent in everything, like having the James Bond of stereo amplifiers. Suave, clean, unruffled, never boring.
The soundstage is extremely wide and deep and has the best depth layering I've ever heard. Pace is excellent. Timbre is true enough to startle. Price is steep, but worth it if you want one of the best.

In comparison to the other amps above: the BAT lacked image body, the Joule lacked low end control, the Rogue had sluggish pacing, and the Sunfire actually sounded too fast and too warm. The Rowland is very very well-balanced. Nice work.

For reference, I'm running Altis transport and DACs into a Rowland Synergy II preamp into the Model 10T amplifier. Speakers are Meadowlark Blue Herons (nice) and all cabling is Cardas Golden Reference.
