Finallly production caught up with demand for the sub-amplifier. I've had the Galo's for approx 8 months waiting for the 3a. Enough about that. The amp is flexible and functional. Sounds a bit punchy when breaking in but soon mellows out to present the lower couple of octaves with musicality and certainly plenty of power. Rounds out the Reference 3 speaker presentation with lower end. I can put away the crappy old sub woofer I've been using. Only one slight problem. I think the same thing ( good low bass presentation ) could have been accomplished with a 12 to 15 inch woofer on the Reference 3 speaker instead of the double voice coil powered 10 inch job. offering. fficient wooferacomplished with Strengths:
