Summary:
I bought this amp because a friend of mine got me a deal that was too good to let go. It was the first external amplifier that I bought and I don't regret it. The amp is well built and takes two people to carry it. When I first connected my Canton speakers the sound stage was amazing. I can use all the superlatives to express the sound. This is one amp that will stay me with a long time.

At first I was very skeptical in buying this amp. I did my research via reviews & friends. I took the plunge. My first impression? WOW! What an amp! Congratulations to the Earthquake engineering team for designing an amp that
is so powerful, clean, detail, & musical. It's probably one of the BEST AMP, or the BEST AMP I've heard todate. Over the years I've owned Cary Audio CAD
211, Lamm, Bryston 4B ST, BAT VK 75 (TUBE), Simaudio Aurora, Simaudio Titan, Simaudio W6 Monoblocks, Audio Research VT200 Mark II (tubes), Audio Research VTM 200 mono blocks, Parasound A51, Theta Dreadnaught II, EAD PM 5300, Classe CAV 180, Krell HTS, Krell Showcase, and Harmon Kardon Citation 7.1 amp. The only amp (above) that can compare to the Cinenova is the Audio Research VT200 Mark II. I am driving the Magnepan 3.6r speakers. I have NEVER heard the 3.6r sing like this before. I am biamping the speakers & so much brute & power going through the 3.6r. Every minute details, every breath a singer takes, every echo from a acoustic guitar, and every vibration of a string guitar is heard. I have heard details on CD's I have never heard before. A friend of mine came over to listen to "Hotel California" from Hell Freezes Over, he was in "awed & wow"! He has never heard ribbon speakers hit so hard & powerful with "lots" of bottom
end. Now, he wants to try the amp on his system (B&W 800D). I am REALLY REALLY IMPRESSED! If you are looking for a multi-channel amp, this is THE ONE. I do highly recommend this amp to anyone.

Strengths:
Power, speed, musical, details, dynamic, bottom end, and did I say POWER?

Weaknesses:
The UPS man! It'll probably takes two of them.
